An Accident at the Lab

When she received a letter offering her an opportunity to study with Dr. Warren, a leading expert in zoology, she was shocked. It was only her first year at the university, and many students never even got to me Dr. Warren, let alone a freshman. Dr. Warren had sent a list of things she needed to bring with her to his lab, and instructed her to familiarize herself with the equipment if he had not arrived by the time she was there.

The young student was in quite a state when Dr. Warren had arrived, apparently she had accidentally knocked over a unstable chemical onto his samples of DNA he had been testing. She was exposed to the strange mixture and the results were beyond anything he could have anticipated. The DNA of the pigs he had been studying had fully mixed with her own, rewriting her genes and leaving her a hybrid of a girl and a pig.

At first she had been distraught at the thought of being stuck between species like this until Dr. Warren explained to her the implications of this new chemical treatment and how it would affect his research. Very soon Dr. Warren would be able to perfect a serum to achieve a controlled version of this accident, and there were some businessman over seas who would reward him handsomely for such a product. Once he got the financial resources, he would make sure she lived a life of luxury and would never want for anything, and she was welcome to keep working with him as his assistant and partner.

It wasn't the same as freedom, or her normal life, but given the alternative of trying to hide her condition, his offer was generous and sincere. This was to be the start of a very profitable relationship, and she was going to become a very rich pig...
